If you haven't watched Karl on The Ricky Gervais Show, or An Idiot Abroad, I reckon you're missing out. Coming out with endlessly ridiculous theories about the world and questions that just never occur to the average person, much to the amusement of Ricky and co-host Stephen Merchant, Karl provides buckets of humour to both shows.
Often being quoted from his diary (read aloud by Stephen) Karl has been heard saying things like:
"The way I look at it, if something that size (an ice cap) falls into the water it's like a big ice cube, and it's gonna freeze it up again." and "We're always making more and more stuff, right um, in the world, yknow big buildings, big planes, big boats and that. Will we ever get to a point where all this is too heavy for the world to handle?"
Here's a clip from The Ricky Gervais Show.

Okay so I'm not the kind of person you'd end up having a debate with over politics, not that I'm not interested in politics, it's just not something I'm very well educated in. This is why I am doing a degree in English language, and not in politics.
However I do appreciate political-based humour. Especially when I understand it. And I do know that I am a fan of Barack Obama. So here's something we can all enjoy, well versed in politics, or not.
